Thanks for all of the wonderful replies. I'm still loving stitching this, but there likely won't be any new updates on this for at least another 10 days--our pc is officially dead and I am trying to sort out what to replace it with. Also looking to finally get road runner lite rather than dealing with dial up. Til then, I'm happy to get online at the nearby library.

I've finally finished Sleeping Beauty. I did make a few small changes, the biggest being not adding the beads in the trellis--I just prefer it without those beads.
Here's the finished result

and a few close ups

I really enjoyed stitching this--but I'm glad that it is finished. Now to sort out my next project

Congratulations on a most beautiful finish. She is lovely. Isn't there another JE chart out there calling to you? You must have a wonderful collection of these. I'm looking forward to your next project whether or not it is a Joan Elliot design.

This is super lovely! I just love the trellis... it looks nice without the beads. Overall, a wonderful and beautiful finish. I am sure this will look great framed.

Wow!! That looks amazing!! The colours make it seem like the fabric is so silky, and lovely work on the backstitch and beading. Just gorgeous!
