Random Thought

Why do I never realize I'm too tired to keep stitching until after I discover the mistake that I have to rip out?

Oh, I do that too!

I suppose there's just no way to realise it (or admit it, anyway) until something like that happens.

You wouldn't think it possible to nod off in the middle of a stitch - but unfortunately it is!! I have to be careful when marking off finished stitches on my work chart - it sometimes ends up with squiggles in places they shouldn't be.

Ha! I do the same thing! Each time I say it won't happen again, I'll stop before I get too tired. Of course it does happen again because I need to do just one more row that turns into 2 then 3 then.... One day I'll learn ... maybe. :D

If any of you figure out how to stop when you are too tired to continue (I think it is a symptom of stitchitis) please post a thread with instructions. I don't usually lose count, I am prone to using the wrong color because I misidentify the symbol. You'd think I would notice if I start using a yellow in what is supposed to be a section of blues, wouldn't you?

I run into this problem all the time. Except usually what winds up happening is that I'm too tired to figure out what color to work on next, so I set it aside. I've been pretty lucky to avoid major mistakes from tiredness. Knock on wood.
