Can anyone resize this for me?

Post by ComaStitch »

Someone offered but I can't remember who... I think it might have been Angel! I want a new forum picture but the thing is so restrictive I got stuck with a pirate last time - it's really annoying. Can anyone resize this so it fits?

If it's any comfort I rather like the pirate!!!

I've not been able to do a forum pic either, I just haven't got around to wasting the time I know it will take me cos I'm so crap at it!!

Good luck...

If no one gets to it first, I'll run it through picsizer when I get off work tonight. Can't promise any results.

From a pirate to adorable kitties  That is a real metamorphosis, and a lovely one at that.

I have never been able to get my Photoshop to make a picture below the max. here.

Can I hi-jack this thread & ask anyone to re-size this:

Glad to help. Coma :)

Try this one, backafteradozenyrs:

With Photoshop, you open "Image" and "Image Size", change the width and height to "80" and then use "Save for Web". The latter brings down the size of the file considerably!

Thank you, Debra :applesauce: (I'm not good at Photoshop at all, every time I changed the pixels, it only lowered it to 10.5K...)

Very happy to help :)

I struggled for ages with the same problem. Nothing I tried would bring the file size down low enough. So I asked a friend who is a graphic designer and was told to NOT save it as a normal file, but to use "save for web". (It's in the "File" menu). And that solved it!

Hijack away! Perhaps we should have this thread as a 'resize' thread!

Just remember to greet your friend James with a full Hello & NOT his nickname at any airport, train station, bus terminal or sea port!

I *knew* it was probably some tiny step that I was missing, but that's the thing...when something's missing, you may not know you don't have it!
