11x11 vs 9x9
I say buy both. Or at maybe the 9x9 set and a pair of 11" legs
I use Q Snaps.. so mine are a little different sized.
I mix and match my frame pieces
Depending on what I am working on, I use either an 8x8 square, or 8x11.
I think 11x11 is too big and unwieldy for me.
It would be different if I had a stand for it to hook into.
Fabric gets loose to quickly, and I have a hard time working in the middle of
that size frame. Smaller works better for me, but 6x6 is too small.
When I have the 8x11.. I rest a corner of it on the arm of a chair or on my chest.

I recently bought a frame that u had to sew your fabric too, i hated it couldnt get my material to stay properly. I found a great tip on the internet that suggested using masking tape to secure the material to the frame, it works great. Its just a thought if you cannot find the frame you like and dont want to sew your fabric on to the frame.

I would think that was a useful size! :D Not too big to handle, yet big enough to get a good stitching area!

Thank you. :)

I like the idea that you can buy different sized arms for these and then mix and match them.
