What size needle...

...should I use on (Mill Hill) seed beads? Is there a special kind or will any ___# do?

I think when I had to do the beads on the mermaid I just used a size 28, but there are needles made specifically for beads. the eye is different so it moves through the beads easier.

Like Rose I use a size 28 needle for beading (MH Seed Beads and Size 11 Delicas) - unless it's MH petite seed beads, then you'll need a beading needle.

I just use whatever fits through the middle of the bead. I've got size 24 - 28 needles, and some beading needles so I test the bead each time before I try attaching it to make sure that it goes through.

I don't like my beading needles much because they are much sharper and have more 'give' in them than my standard embroidery needles
