Joan Elliott's Christmas Angel--finished Sept 20th

A very big thank you to Sally for sending me the magazine chart of this a few weeks ago. I've had a hand dyed piece of 18 count aida in my stash for a while and thought it would be just the right fabric for this design.

and here is a picture of my start on it--the fabric I'm using is even prettier in real life, it's just so hard to get all of the shades to show up.

Great start. A lovely chart that I know you are going to love stitching and the fabric is perfect. Colors are so hard to get right if it isn't daylight when you take the photo. I am really looking forward to your updates on this one.

Brill progress! Some metallics there! Have you seen she's got a new Christmas angel coming in CSC and Santa and a polar bear in CSG. Both in blue like this fine lady!
