God Speed!! Updated 24th October 2015

I claimed this chart as a reward for spending so much money on the HAED site (thanks rcperryls!!) and subsequently saw a hanging of this one and the accompanying 'Tha Accolade' in the English Heritage shop at Whitby Abbey while we were on holiday. That did it and I had to start it at the earliest opportunity. So as soon and I'd finished Sunday Cricket and the June Mr Man I got this one started.
Here's the full picture

and here's where I'm at so far

I'm stitching 2 over 1 on 18 count Antique White Aida, as I wanted a bigger finish to make it onto a hanging, like a tapestry. There's already detail of the stone carving appearing, but there's a heck of a lot of black on page 2 .

Beautiful start. This is one of the lovliest of the HAEDs that I have seen. and yes the stone carving is already showing the detail. I love this and can't wait for your updates

I've been working on this one for the most part over the last three weeks or so, so here's where it's at

I'm going to have a go at Rhyme and Reason now I think. I could do with some blue!!

Wow, this is going to be absolutely stunning. I've always liked this painting and it'll be great to see it in stitch form.

It looks like a huge project, but you've made so much progress already. I envy your speed!
