Funny thing, the pink for Teddy's cheeks & ears is the same as in Dragons ear! I think it may just look fine once I get the wc off.

So cute. :applesauce: :applesauce: WELL DONE and CONGRATULATIONS on finishing it.  :shamrock: with removing the wc.

(incidentally wc used to stand for water closet.toilet when I was a child)

Hi Squirrel...I wondered if anyone would make that connection for my "wc" abbreviation

Are there any special "tricks of the trade" on removing waste canvas? How do y'all do it?

LOL on the water closet--was thinking that earlier too. As for the waste canvas removal, I think Rose will be the best one to explain it--I am not real good at using waste canvas, as I tend to have issues with removal of it--so I use scraps of evenweave or linen in place of it. Hopefully you won't have too much trouble with it

:applesauce: I love it. I'm thinking this would be great for one of my grandsons who is never without a stuffed animal. Bear (that's the name of his favorite Teddy) is always around. I told my DIL I don't want to know when he stops wanting his teddy and this looks like a great Christmas gift. You stitched it pretty quickly too, it seems. I like the blue you chose. Its fantastic. :applesauce:

:applesauce: Wonderful. The cross stitch is great too. (The menu is what I couldn't help but refer to first. ) The frame is perfect. I love that design. It is so precious. I'm sure he will be so surprised and love it.
