Project got wet BEFORE I finished it!
I have a baby blanket that I was stitching, but it has gotten wet, washing away the pattern! I still have the instruction sheet with a pattern on there. Is there any way of saving my project, without just blindly guessing where the stitches go? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
Re: Project got wet BEFORE I finished it!
This must have been a stamped project????? That is hard as the stamp is the pattern for the stitches.
I am not sure what you can do. Maybe contact the designer and see if they have any suggestions.

I am so sorry to hear about this catastropy! I can only guess the feeling you had when you first realized the guidelines were gone...I've had a few "opps" in my crafting & it isn't a fun thing to go through!!
If you have to abandon this project completely, we are a nice supportive group to help enable you into cross stitching....we LOVE to see each others work & share in our day to day happenings.
