Cheapest fabric?

Post by kouneli »

So I'm looking to buy 25ct Lugana fabric. I need at least 30" x 32". I've looked at some of the custom cuts, but most end up being $50+. There were also 36" x 55", but those were more like $45+. Was hoping to spend more like $20 or $30 (USD). Any ideas on what websites have the cheapest fabrics?

Hello-

Believe it or not, I just picked up a piece of fabric very mush like what you are looking for in Ikea  - the department selling fabric for drapes had an offcut (leftover) in their deals bin for €2,49 - and it was a piece about the same size.

Last year a local department store had a sale on small tablecloths that were something like 30 ct and very useful for stitching. I find that when I open my eyes there are quite a few deals out there...

I have a set of 6 linen table napkins and have used two of these for stitchig. They were the equivaleny of 30 count.
