Surprise surprise!

Before the weekend I ordered a surprise box from a Norwegian embroidery store. I received it today, and I just wanted to share!

I would guesstimate the value to be 4 times would I paid!

Here is what I got:

1. Winnie the Pooh from Vervaco 10 x 13 cm
2. Christmas design 15 x 15 cm
3. Bicycle afternoon from Dimensions 18 x 13 cm
4. Garden picture from Atelie Margaretha 22 x 29 cm
5. Christmas decoration x 3 design from Permin 9 x 9 cm each
6. Squirrel in forest from Eva Rosenstand 35 x 35 cm
7. Easter design with frame x 3 (longstitch) from Marks and Kattens 6 x 9 cm each
8. Christmas post pocket from SvartaFÃ¥ret 24 x 33 cm
9. Black table cloth with embroidery from Permin 80 x 80 cm
10. Lilla orkide from Handarbetsklubben 18 x 31 cm

I liked all of the designs, except from Winnie the Pooh, as I dont like cute stuff like that. I want to trade it away with some of you here, I will take a picture later and put it up for trade!

Oh, and today I also received my first order from Sew Exciting.... the three small butterflies, plus a landscape from Rowandean.
I have started one of the butterflies (its only 10 x 10 cm). I am also working on the elephant tapestry. I will put the koala on hold for now.

You clearly belong to this forum having quickly developed stashitis. And to get designs that sound so good ,and if the links look anything like what you have gotten are so pretty, in a surprise box is amazing. I don't think I'd have that kind of luck. Oh yeah, I think I developed stashitis!!

And I didnt have high hopes for the surprise box, as usually they are full of unwanted trash. So I cried out in delight when I opened this one! Such good designs and value!

Yeah, from margaretha.no in Norway. They might ship international too. I can check if you are interested in a box like that. It might be a bit expensive in shipping, but you will still get a bargain.

Thanks. Let me know what you find out. I don't know if I'll have it in my budget to get it until next year, but it's certainly worth knowing the option is there if I do.
