Broken Plate

Post by xstitchmom »

This is a picture of my own creation I did years ago. This plate/bowl had broken with just the centre falling out. Looking at this 'frame' I decided to have fun with it and searching thru my stash, I found the perfect alphabet and motifs to make this my own. I stitched it on plastic canvas so it would be more durable. It now has a home over my kitchen cabinets.

That is a good idea though if I were to do that for my each cup my Dad has broken he'd have no where to put them!

That is so different. What a weird way for the plate to have broken...... :thinks:

Rose, I agree that it broke in such a weird fashion. It just slipped out of my hand, hit my kitchen counter and the centre of it fell out. It must have been defective to begin with.

Thank you to all for all the nice comments. :)

What fun! Must resist deliberately trying to break some plates in that way now
