HEAD mini Shiver Meow Timbers by Dawn-FRAMED 6/8/2017

I used the "new start" SAL on the HAED BB as an excuse to start a new project, even though I had only been through my rotation once instead of twice (that is why I have flexable rules). It is going to be a gift for my son who loves Pirates and is phobic about cats (very long story there. He lives with his mom - he is my step son, but I think of all of them as "mine" not "steps").
It will hopefully look like this:

I had help with kitting it up:

and she obviously thougt that meant the threads belonged to her

The whole process was exhausting so she couldn't stitch much the rest of the week as she needed to rest

I think I made good progress during the week

It is 1 over 1 full crosses on 25 ct Jobelan. I was going to tent stitch but there is too much black, even with anchor, but its going pretty quickly right now as there are large blocks of color in the background. It is fun to stitch.
