Thanks. Since I got a couple finishes in today (one of which I can't post a pic of b/c it's for the ornament exchange), I'll be back to working on her tomorrow. I want to finish up the page I'm on before setting her aside again to work on Sephina and my blackwork piece.

Today, Simba decided to help me stitch.

He says, "Stop taking pictures and get to stitching!" :ratherbe:

Anyway, here's my progress from today.

It makes me nervous seeing a cat so close to the stitching. The cats I know can't be trusted to not tear it up.

Beautiful work :applesauce: .

He knows better than to get at it. The last few times he's sat with me while I stitched, he's just sat there patiently watching before deciding to take a nap.

:applesauce: beautiful photos of Simba. A nice quiet companion. I can't remember mine every actually clawing the fabric when I'm stitching and its put away when I'm not. Wouldn't want Laverne to try it on her own. I think you are doing a beautiful job of stitching. You are making great progress too! :applesauce:

She's looking great front and back! Isn't it nice to have someone comment on the back (without prompting)? I tried a little parking on my Celestial Gatherings piece, but I don't think it's my thing either. I've always been a cross country stitcher, and only learned the term since joining this forum :)

(Enjoying Kingdom Hearts 2? ;))

Thanks everyone.

Unfortunately Carole, he's usually not that quiet. He's a real talker. Side effect of being part Siamese AND part Bengal. (Another side effect of his heritage is that he is huge! Weighed him the other day and he clocked in at 20 lbs. He's not fat at all, either.)

Sally, it is funny how they get sleepy. must be the hypnotizing motion of our stitching.

Megan, I park a thread here and there when needed, but I can't imagine doing it all the time. As for Kingdom Hearts 2, I've already finished it. I'm now focused on Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep.

Rose, he certainly manages to keep me on my toes. ;)
