Lace and Roses

Post by xstitchmom »

This is my first SAL in which I will be posting my progress and am excited to be starting my new project called Lace and Roses by Dimensions:

Image

Here is my progress so far on my new q-snaps. I love them. The blue felt material is helping to grip the fabric tighter and keep it taut. I am really enjoying this pattern although it has a few elements of couching which I have not done before, but I'll worry about that when the time comes.

Looking good. Don't think twice about couching. It's beyond easy. Do it once and you'll wonder why it isn't used more often.

Great start! That is going to be beautiful!

By the way...what is couching? And parking for that matter? :thinks:

Great project!! :applesauce: And couching is not a big deal. I was intimidated at first as well since I didn't know what it was, but it's fairly easy. I find it fiddly and somewhat time-consuming, but it is not difficult.
