I've got a question about the Peaceful Stream kit. That is one of the kits on my Christmas wishlist ( I put down a whole list of kits I wanted and he's gonna pick one to get me that way I get one that I want and he can still surprise me) and I was wondering, is it all made up of half stitches?

I don't think it is made of all 1/2 stitches...i think just the sky areas are...looks like the trees too. I would have to find that kit and i just moved so it's in a box at the moment. Sorry I can't be of more help right now to answer your question.

I don't have an update right now picture wise...but I have some wonderful news. Something that has just made my day (probably my week). I was RAKed a HAED chart today! My good friend Sherry did it for me! I got birthstone sapphire by rachel anderson today. I get paid tomorrow so plan to pick up my threads and fabric then. Here is a link to the chart!

Not only has she done this but she has put me up for a challenge. If I finish the sapphire one, and an old UFO called 'stacked cups' she will buy me another in the series. I wish I could go get my supplies today but it appears I have to have some patience till tomorrow! I'm so excited. My first RAK!!

Here's my first 100 stitches of Sapphire by Rachel Anderson. A friend of mine RAKed me!

I am sooo grateful that she did this for me. What makes it even more special is the fact that I have no way of purchasing the HAED charts on my own because I know what will happen if i have a credit/debit card. I would own all the HAED charts, so she was very sweet and surprised me! I will add the blog address for this project in my signature!

great start. You are going to have so much fun stitching this. I did Rachel Anderson's mini Amethyst for my sister's birthday. I loved stitching it and have another of her charts in my stash. It is so amazing to watch as details begin to appear. I can't wait to watch this one develop.

Thanks everyone for the great encouragement! I have just finished Row 2 on Page 1 and took update pictures. I had yesterday and today off work so have gotten a bunch of stitching time in. I work the next 5 days so might be longer between updates till my next day off probably! Here they are!
