Welcome, Heather, from the drippy West of Scotland. You'll soon figure out how the forum works. We love newbies, and don't bite or bark (except at bank managers and similar sorts), so jump right in. :)

Thank you everyone, I feel very welcomed. I hate to admit it, but I havent picked up my little bear cross stitch in more than 24 hours. :( Partly because I have had visitors, but partly because it is a little awkward just now, I had a little op on my middle finger, so have to hold my needle with first and third finger, plus thumb, with the offending digit poking straight up, lol. Makes for very slow stitching.
To Godzone, I love NZ., beautiful place - I lived in Invercargill and also Nelson for a number of years. Kiora. :ribbit:

Hope the finger will soon recover! And don't worry, although the activity here may seem to suggest otherwise, not everyone is stitching nine hours a day :-) -- unfortunately life interrupts occasionally...

Oops rotten luck on the finger, but I am sure it will be better soon. Just think this will give you time to explore your stash. :)
