Welcome, Heather, from the drippy West of Scotland. You'll soon figure out how the forum works. We love newbies, and don't bite or bark (except at bank managers and similar sorts), so jump right in.

Re: Hello from Australia
Thank you everyone, I feel very welcomed. I hate to admit it, but I havent picked up my little bear cross stitch in more than 24 hours.
Partly because I have had visitors, but partly because it is a little awkward just now, I had a little op on my middle finger, so have to hold my needle with first and third finger, plus thumb, with the offending digit poking straight up, lol. Makes for very slow stitching.
To Godzone, I love NZ., beautiful place - I lived in Invercargill and also Nelson for a number of years. Kiora.

Re: Hello from Australia
Hope the finger will soon recover! And don't worry, although the activity here may seem to suggest otherwise, not everyone is stitching nine hours a day
-- unfortunately life interrupts occasionally...

Re: Hello from Australia
Oops rotten luck on the finger, but I am sure it will be better soon. Just think this will give you time to explore your stash.

If you are looking for some one to help change you, look in the mirror
Re: Hello from Australia
Welcome to the forum, sorry to hear about ur finger and i hope it gets better soon. Not to worry about not doing any stitching for so long, i cant remember the last time i picked mine up.
