New thread! I'll just re-post the latest picture -- this is the first half of Gingham Gems (II)

I'll be taking a set of small Christmas projects with me on holiday this Friday, it's called Festive Cheer. Don't know how much stitching time I'll get but I hope to have at least 2 or 3 to show when we get back!

What fabric is that? It lends itself well to the design, doesn't it!

I love that 'twiddly' corner stitching!

Thanks -- I did in fact start with the fabric and design Gingham Gems especially for it. It's called Colmar CarrÃ© and comes in orange and yellow as well. I actually rather wish I'd gone for the orange instead of the beige, but oh well, it's a bit expensive to get another fat quarter just to stitch them again!

By the way, have nearly finished the final one, and found that it is off-centre - aaaaaargh!

These are lovely and I think Wendy's comment about the beige on beige is so right. I think they all have a real elegance to them.

I hope you had an energising time in the Lakes. Your new designs are lovely, very Christmassy and tasteful as ever. How did you get on with the metallic perle? I tried some and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
