The ornament looks lovely and the beading is so very cute ! :) The colours go nicely together in the kit.

Great to hear about your finish ! :) wishing you the best of luck to begin the backstitching; it does appear a little overwhelming on the chart, yeah...? :') I've put in a couple of hours on my ornament but have only manage to complete most of one colour...

Finished!

I really had to put myself in auto-pilot to tackle this backstitching. I'm waiting for fabric to start my HAED so I figured I would go ahead and work on this. It took me two evenings, a couple hours each so not too bad. Like usual, once I get started with backstitching, I don't mind it too much but the getting started part always gets me. Also, I did try a new technique for the first time...Couching. It was only needed for the word 'Holiday' and admittedly I was aprehensive to try it so I backstitched it instead. It just didn't look god so I :anotherfrog: it and attempted couching. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was!
I apparently forgot how I was able to get such nice French knots on my Owl project because these turned out less than desirable. Oh well, they are what they are :D
