christmas gifts

Post by annastasia76 »

I made these for Christmas gifts this year, it takes about 3-4 hours to make the box

This first one was the first one I had made, we did an activity in church one Saturday where we learned how to make these, I decided to just fill it with candy.

This one I decided to make after I saw the ribbon with deer on it, my mother lives where there are alot of elk so I thought it was perfect for her, so I got the gingham fabric to go with. I also found some pine cone picks that also looked perfect. To put in the box I made these simple cross stitch ornaments, the backing fabric is the same fabric as the box. I also put candy in the box.
I am still trying to figure out what else to give them for Christmas, I don't have a whole lot of time this year for making gifts.

So beautiful. Great idea to back your ornaments with the same fabric. I know the recipients will be delighted with your thoughtful gift.

it's too much to explain here, I am trying to talk the person who originally designed these into doing a tutorial because I think that there are many people who would like to make them.
