Fabric Mount Question

Post by gardeninglady2012 »

Does anyone have any experience with Fabric Mounts, instead of Scroll frames? These seem to hold tension all the way around the fabric. But I have never seen one or heard from anyone who has ever used one.

I wish they gave us more details about how the mounts hold the fabric as opposed to telling us all about how it does not.

I've never heard of them but it looks like a neat mount! Maybe someone here has tried them.
Mystonique, there's a link in the left sidebar that shows pics of how the fabric is mounted.

Someone emailed me back and said that they have sold so many of these mounts. I can't seem to find, however, anyone who has actually bought one.

Never heard of these before. It looks like you would need to have a frame the exact size of you fabric in order for it to work. That could get quite pricey if you do many different size projects.

from the pictures in the gallery it does not look like it holds the sides of the fabric at all.

i've never seen these before either. I can't quite understand how they work; the website isn't very clear.
