Oooooh, Trylla those are gorgeous patterns. I was tempted by Little Red Riding Hood too, but I haven't seen Guardian Angel before. They're both now on my wishlist along with Astranaithes, which I saw in the HAED BB WIP section:

I have been horribly tempted to get just a "few" things. So, I convinced my husband that new charts would th e altermate Valintine's gift for me.

Oooh, Trylla and Lizzie, those are gorgeous! I love the colors in Rapunzel and Astranaithes, and I especially love Red Riding Hood, but I don't think I'd have the patience for so much background.

I've decided to sit this one out until I can work full-time again. Just need to hold out for a few more days!

I'm eyeing up Moses in the Bullrushes. It's so beautiful and detailed, and I have always loved the story of Moses.

I totally caved. Ended up with Windswept by Rebecca Sinz. I'll be making a trip to Joann's this weekend for floss. This'll be my first HAED.

I got Lady in the Meadow by Craft....her work can no longer be requested and I would be gutted if they retired her charts without me buying this one.....I know there hasn't been an announcement to that effect but I didn't want to take any chances so I snagged it while the sale was on!

Good thinking Sam - i think they did retire her at one point but were able to bring her back. Wouldn't be surprised to see her retired again with not being able to request any new charts now... Too bad because I LOVE her work. Going to start one myself in the next month or so I think.

Brought a new frame last month and had to replace the clutch on the car this month which has hit the stitchy budget somewhat!!!!

Now more charts for me for now, fabric and thread will be my focus for now!!!

What a beautiful piece of art that is, Sam. Of course you had to get it before her charts are retired. I've been lucky this sale with being RAKed so think I am managing to stay somewhat on my stash acquisition ban which does not include thread and fabric. But the next 50% sale I think I may go goofy! Hopefully, I will have managed to get a few house repairs done before that. Not that I don't have more than enough stitching on hand. I do love seeing what lovely charts I will be watching in the next few days? weeks? months? years? being stitched.

@Ashley: I'm not generally a fan of Jasmine Becket-Griffith's fairies, but I really like the ones you've chosen. I hadn't seen them before and am looking forward to the SALs!

Sam that is a beautiful piece you are right to get it now and ashley I like your choices I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's progress on these designs.
I measured the left over fabric I have and its not big enough for anything that I have my eye on so no more purchases for me for now, but its not like I don't have anything to do for the next ten years or so

On the basis of this I went and bought the four Wagner's Ring posters by Craft. They've been in and our of my basket a few times, I'd be really disappointed if I couldn't get hold of them in future. There were loads of other charts of hers I would love too. I hope they aren't retired. I'll post piccies when I get on the computer.

Thanks. I have a thing for fairies and dragons. The QS one I am going to do on 32 cnt Amderstam Blue, without the background, and work as a regular cross stitch pattern. The Mini will go on a piece of 18cnt I have.

Next will be to up-date fabric and floss. Not so much the floss, but the fabric. I got a good start on the Mini Soul Mates already, and I am doing it on 40cnt and so far so good. I have to also finish my daughter's birthday present, the Teacher's Table Topper, and once it is done, I can start one of the new HAED's.
