I am oriettaIt there too. I have been approved yesterday and have been reading a lot of useful stuff. I will start my first HAED soon, I am kitting up all the stash needed and I feel like I will need tons of help

I am also on there and I am lizthebob. I think I have my settings right but couldn't find anything about email privacy.

If you are on the HAED BB, click on "account" at the top of your screen to take you to your YUKU account. click on the "wrench" to get to "settings" and you will see "privacy" as one of your options.
There are a lot to look at including who gets to view your email address. It is down towards the end of the list under contacts. Your options are "logged in members", "only my friends", or only me.
Mine are mostly set to logged in members because I have very little info in my profile. I rarely go to the YUKU account and often have to fiddle around with it to remember the few things that I do know about it.

Heaven and Earth Designs Bulletin Board
It is a forum similar to this one (different format though and not as easy to navigate through but not bad) on the YUKU social network. As the name says, it is pretty much dedicated to the stitching and accumulating of HAED designs. Lots and lots of good info and tips about HAED stitching. There is one forum where members can discuss and post pics of non HAED projects. For anyone stitching an HAED design (or several) it is a great support. Everyone is helpful and friendly and encouraging.

Kjers10 - it's members only. You have to set up a yuku account and apply to be a member of the HAED board - when you click through on the link I think it should give you an option to request membership of the board or at least tell you where to go to get membership. It usually takes about a week to get accepted.

Try getting to it from the HAEDwebsite. On the left side of the home page under Important Links you will see one that says Bulletin Board. Click on it and I think you can view it without being a member, but to be honest, I don't remember. Doesn't take too much to join, though it isn't as quick as a few other forums and can take up to a week or so.
You have to join YUKU first, If I remember correctly.

When I go to my Yuku account I can go on settings but nowhere does it have a heading for privacy. If i click on settings and email it just confrrims my email account but doesn't ask who I want to be able to see it.

I think your profile is an older one in Yuku. I had a really hard time finding it and went back and forth with the Yuku help people because if you wanted to find the profile of someone and they hadn't posted on the BB in a while then there is no way I could find to look up a person's user name and then their profile. When I look at it I don't see a wrench like I mentioned before. I think what you are looking for is missing. You've been a member of the BB longer than I have and that must be how profiles were. I can send you the message and see if that makes a difference. Let me know.
I would have pm'd this to you because it is sort of OT, but I think this could be happening to others also?
I do know what you have to type into your address bar if you don't know the person's profile but do know their user name.

I have tried numerous times to join and I still can't get it to work. Now it tells me that my e-mail address already has an account attached to it but I can not get the password to change and the one I had does not work. The help section does not work and I just decided the frustration was not worth the time and I have given up. I would have liked to view a few things over there but it is just not worth it for me.
