OK, I'm going to participate in the next one! Psyching myself up for next weekend. Here is my UFO, The Castle Sampler by Teresa Wentzler:



I started work on this in 1992 (yes really.) Then stopped for over a decade - not much stitching at all in that period. I can't remember when I picked it up again but I think it was 2008 or so. Then I got bogged down in backstitching the figures (the castle part is done) in late 2010 and switched to The Enchanter. Thus far I've been a one-project-at-a-time stitcher, so the poor castle just sat there... you all have inspired me to make a move! See you later to report progress...

Beautiful. Before I knew about HAED TW was my favorite designer. Have to get back to my long neglected Fairy afghan with one of her seasonal fairies not finished.
I think you have done a fantastic job on this one. You certainly have very little left to do.

Saturday is the day that I shall start again on the Castle Sampler. I have no choice, really, as The Enchanter is ready to be washed prior to doing the last step of beading, and my threads for the next project haven't arrived yet.
