Thank you all for the praise and encouragement. I have done more already. About 700 stitches on page 2. I REALLY want to see that bat head emerge and it is at the end of the page, no matter how I approach it. I sure wish I didn't work for a living. :)

elementaryteacher77 - I jumped into an HAED without a clue about the complexity of the charts. I just loved the design of Mind If I Hang Out. It was too much fun to pass up. Yes, it is a handful and will take a lot of time. But, the details are amazing. It is well worth every minute. And people on the forum are very encouraging and motivating. Thank you for your encouragement.

Thank you everyone. I'm really enjoying this chart.
2000 stitches done on page 2 out of 4960. By doing my blocks of 400 vertically a finished strip looks more complete. My next strip of 20 stitches wide will reveal a bat. It's going to be at the bottom so lots of incentive to ignore the housework and stitch. :lol: Yes, I could start at the bottom and work my way up but I'm going to be good and start at the top.
