It's been brilliant today

Post by freelady »

I'm so thrilled to be stitching at long, long last. All the trouble I've had trying to see now seems to be behind me. Although my new glasses should be ready any day, I can see using my off the peg ones well enough to get by. I have now finished the part of my purple angel that I've been struggling with for so long. The sweet relief of looking at it and knowing I can move on to the next area. Well, I wasn't going to skip it and start somewhere else or I'd never have wanted to go back to it. I didn't realise how relaxing stitching is, how rewarding, nor how much I missed it.

Now I can stitch more and will be glad to have it as a break from studying. It will soon be summer break when study time will be stitchy time. Life just gets better and better.

That's wonderful news! :applesauce: :D :applesauce: I've been thrilled to get back to my stitching, too. My eyes were a (minor) problem for a while, with incorrect prescription, dry eyes, good prescription but lenses incorrect, finally got good lenses and now I can stitch, stitch, stitch. Let us see your purple angel--I'll bet she's absolutely beautiful!
