Definitely harder than Tribal Cat. But, I am enjoying it still, especially when I see details like the bat continue to appear.

Thank you everyone. May not finish page 3 by the end of May and that really irks my type A personality. Here is the latest strip. The bat is complete (well, his top half) and tip of a dragon tail is starting to appear. The last 2 strips will show more dragon tail tip and the next few pages will keep me interested as bat feet will appear. Amazing what I find interesting.

Not sure what I'm doing about Flickr. They've made some huge changes and I do not find it user friendly in the least. I want to get in and get out, not hunt around to find anything. I also liked it streamlined instead of all mashed together. I left Photobucket because they do not have copywrite on anything. Flickr automatically puts a copywrite on photos. At least they did. Wonder if that got lost in the changes, too.

Since I only seem to be able to upload from a public source to this forum, this may be the last update you see. I just don't have the time nor energy to search for a new photo sharing site.

OK, mini rant over, back to stitching.

Shame about the photo sharing sites...I too find them extremely user unfriendly now and/or very slooooow to load. If you find a good one or if anyone else knows of one I would like to change from photobucket....it used to be that you could link to a separate website and thus your album was then private but they got rid of that at the last update so now it always links to your album and made the site it so fancy that it takes an absolute age to load up or manipulate the pics now

I will persist with it I guess because sharing progress with others who understand the level of work that goes into a piece can be very motivational and I would miss that boost that I sometimes need to just get on with it!

Hope you find a solution to your problem as I will miss seeing your updates

I'm tempted to go to Ipernity. Apparently, it looks and functions a lot like Flickr did up until a couple of weeks ago. If I go there, I need to make sure I can share with this site and I may just use it only for cross stitch photos. The rest of my photos would then stay in my computer.

Too bad this site doesn't allow me to upload from my computer. That would solve everything.

There should be a page 3 finished update within a week or so. And then, bye bye Flickr and hopefully hello something else. I appreciate the comment about missing my updates. A little more incentive to find a solution.

It is a shame that these sites think they have to change everything when the site works fine as it is. Every update on these sites makes them harder when they claim that it is easier.

You can load your pictures direct to the gallery and then link it to the post from there.

I have seen others do that but I was a bit unsure about doing it myself, I was wondering if it would put undue strain on the forums storage capacity?
