Thank you everyone! I do agree this fairies seem to be more grown up in a way. They aren't cutesy or cheesy looking, very elegant with a touch of sparkle.

I love Nora Corbett's designs because she has a really good sense for color. The colors when you first pull them make you double and triple check you have the right colors but once they are all on the fabric...wow. Blue Bell for instance, she appears to be all blue but the darker areas are actually purple. And Ivy she appears green but the lighter parts of her dress are actually a brown.

Carole I do plan on doing more of these pixies! In my shopping cart right now is Holly, Lily of the Valley and Jasmine. I also have the letter S, W, and M to do! But I think once I am done these two I will start either Red Pirate Lady or Rose of Provence!

Anywho I managed to finish Ivy tonight:

Blue Bell has another leg and I think all that is left for her is the back stitching. I hope to have her done by tomorrow so I can wash them both on Sunday!

Thank you everyone! I managed to get Bluebell done tonight!!

She needs a bath along with Ivy tomorrow. She then gets hand dyed silk put into her hair and the bluebell stem along with a lot of beads! I did start beading Nora's letter P my mom had stitched, just have a few more beads then it is done. I will post a photo of that later on. Mermaids of the Deep Blue are calling for me to finish their beading too....I am going to be busy beading for a while.
