Definitely give your shoulder time to rest. I've suffered from that myself and it can take so much longer if you strain it.

You've done excellent work so far, and it will still be there ready for you when you're able to stitch again.

I know exactly where you are with your shoulders! I have the same problem. I hope you can get back to this soon, though, I think you were quite right to choose the Modena; it was the one I selected when I looked at your samples. :)

I wonder if sticking to stitching over 1 on bigger counts would make a significant difference? :( Sorry to hear about your pain. :tantrum:

I'm sorry to hear about your shouder :-( -- would it help stitching something small which is light to hold, and perhaps a larger needle? (That may sound odd but holding something very small for a long time can cause all sorts of weird cramps in your arms and shoulders)

I’ve actually got a small update on this. While stitching a new small project I realized that it was 18 count crosses I was doing which is the same as this project. So that got me itching to try it again. It’s been very slow going but I finished a row at least.

Would you believe I almost got rid of my lowery workstand? I didn’t think I was going to use it anymore. Think again! In my new home the setup is good, although I can tell it’s still a strain on my shoulder so I’m taking it easy.

Great to see this interesting design again and Well Done :applesauce: on finishing a row. Do take care of your shoulder though - damage it too much and you are stuck with it forever.

Beautiful stitching :applesauce:

Please do take care of your shoulder as Sally said sometimes the damage can be permanent if you do too much, just pace yourself and you'll be fine.

Almost got rid of of your Lowery? It's difficult to tell which is my favourite possession, my Lowery or my Kindle.

:applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: I love this design! ( When I saw the subject I thought it was the same as the one I have in my "WIP" list, which has been waiting patiently for two years  , but it's different. Mini-moonlight and is black and white. ) The colors are so lovely in this one. It looks like it will be a lot of fun to stitch!
