I love this mag Steph but I'm not sure I would subscribe unless they do an electronic version. With patterns and stash etc, I don't have the room to keep my magazines and I wouldn't know what to do with the paper copies. Do they have an electronic version of the mag? I do buy a paper copy if there is something in there that I like.

I'm not quite sure, I know you can get an app on iPhone for it but obviously you have to pay for the mag on that too but that is an electronic version I suppose!
I know what you mean, I struggle with storage for the mags. I keep mine in box files under my bed but recently I have been thinking about taking out the designs I want to stitch and putting them in file with plastic wallets. That will be a much bigger help with storage for myself.
Maybe it's something you could look at doing also x
I subscribe to both World of Cross Stitching and Just Cross Stitch. Haven't had much time for stitching lately though--just worked another six days straight!

Ouch! I know that feeling.
What do you do if you don't mind me asking? And what did you think of the latest issue? X
Hi Stephanie. I work in housekeeping at the hospital here. Was called in for OT on my day off. I'm actually about three issues behind--still working on my butterfly. In between I finished a birth announcement cross stitch and have working on a chart out of the "Made in France: Cross Stitch Sampler" book.
I have so many things I'd like to make, but so little time these days.

Hi Steph, that's a good idea. I've also just read the recent magazine and it does mention digital copy in there. I think it may be like my patchwork magazine in that you can get access to the digital if you subscribe to the paper version. I plan to investigate. x

WOXS isn't one of my favourites, I wouldn't have it on sub myself, it's a bit to cutesy for me. However I did just buy the current issue as they had a Gorjuss chart!
I think most of the British mags have a digital version now, it makes sense if you already work from a tablet to stitch. I need a paper copy so would have to see if they can be printed from it.
It's is a far better way for those overseas to get the mags though!
After doing the Marjorie Massey chart in issue 201, I had to get her "Made in France: Cross Stitch Sampler" book. I actually had to order it from a British company as all of the companies here would have taken weeks to ship it.
I actually found a great deal on WOXS and was able to get a 2 year subscription for just $5/issue. It cost $13.95 an issue here in Canada. Zinio offers Cross Stitch Collection, Cross Stitcher, Cross Stitch Crazy, Cute Cross Stitch, Cross Stitch Gold, and WOXS.
I bought an issue of Cross Stitcher from Zinio for a gnome pattern for my cousin and printed it out. She asked me to make her a gnome and I looked for a small pattern. I imagine money saved by getting an digital magazine could be made up for in ink usage if you print out copies. If you're looking to save space and storage, however, they're great.
living in the US I have to drive about 20 minutes to a very busy mall that has a casino in it to go to the one bookstore that actually carries it..and they are usually 2 months behind the current issue...so I don't..but I'd loooove to. I can't afford to actually subscribe so I keep tabs via the website what patters will be in which mag and like clockwork I can go and pick it up..but it's $10 usd per mag! most us mags are $5

I agree in that some of it is a bit cutesy (like that term, ) and I don't always like some of the designs in there. Which chart in the current issue is a Gorjuss one?
