The colours on that are so rich, I love the way they show the folds in the fabric!

It's a beautiful design. It's funny how when we finish one project we want something very different for the next one.

I've been off work this week, so I've had lots of time to enjoy working on this project. I'm still loving these colors!! I can't wait to get to the beading (my favorite part!)... I think that will really take it over the top. :D

Here's the latest update.... I know I've said this several times before, but I just LOVE working with these colors! And I'm excited that I've reached the point where at least a few of the sections are starting to look like something... The fan and the fleur-de-lis have come together at last.

Here's a close-up picture of the fan. I always like the way Mirabilia designs use subtle color changes and blending to create depth.

I'm going to be out of town for a conference for most of this week, so my stitchy time will be limited... I'll post another update once there's enough progress to make it worth sharing.
