Great progress on a lovely design

I hate having loads of fabric wafting about. I've made covers for two sizes of my R&R frames. Must get around to making some for the other sizes/configurations.

Soooo, I know I said I wasn't going to update till there was more done than just background...I'm a dirty liar! I'm just so tickled with this design and the colors so far, I can't help sharing

I got annoyed enough with my qsnap today that I tried it with my Ergo floor stand. Will wonders never cease! They work beautifully together! Right up until I turn the work over to secure threads. Then the weight of the frame sags, causing the tension on the fabric to loosen. But not to worry! I flip it back over, gently push down on the frame and tension is restored! Bizarre, but it works.

I'm still futzing with all the fabric left hanging from the frame. I clamp it to within an inch of its life, but it leaves weird knots of fabric right where I need my hands to go. Experiments continue.

Smudge decided to take it upon herself to make me take a break. She sat on my lap and drooled happily while I focused all my adoration on her. I'm good staff that way.


And without further ado, here's my latest progress pic. It's kind of dark for some reason. IRL the colors are lighter and brighter

Lovely update. I love how the swirls in the design of the walls (?) are taking shape. Giving it a very rich feeling already! Glad you found a way to get the Qsnaps to work with your stand.

Smudge looks very pleased with herself. I'm sure she appreciates it when her staff gives her the attention she knows she deserves
