Amazing piece and fabulous work. Well done! All I could think of when I first saw your work was 'oh goodness, the amount of confetti in there', lol! Look forward to more updates on this piece. Sorry I missed your initial thread. A very belated welcome to the forum from the UK. I just love your kitty too.

Yes, the whole thing is pretty solidly confetti...I consider it good if there's more than 4 or 5 stitches of the same color in a 10x10 block, LOL. It's so worth the work and all the color changes, though; I love seeing the details pop out when you stand back and look at the whole thing. I do have roughly 3/4 of the colors/symbols memorized (90 in total) which makes it go faster.
And the great thing about confetti is that you can misplace a stitch or two or three and fill it in with a different color and no one's the wiser. I only frog if I get really AWOL.
Holy moly! That design is beautiful and INTENSE! I would have gone running at the first sight of all that confetti. I'm very impressed that you embraced it and are making it look so fantastic!
Thanks again for all your compliments! It is so nice to share with people who know how much work and time and devotion go into these things.
Two more pages down and halfway done with the second row. Yay!
I think the colors are more true in these. There is definitely a more yellowy/orange vibe going on in person, but there was a fair amount of green in these two pages.
Getting started on page 13 tomorrow...stitching right along.
