I think you are doing a great job on your peek a boo. Is it still the colors that are bothering you? I'm not sure if the colors are coming through correctly on your photo. The fabric seems darker than it did before. I hope that you start to feel better about this. It's not a lot of fun to stitch a piece that you aren't enjoying and I think this is a lovely design. I love the detail!

The colours are bad in the photo. Think I will go back to my camera rather than my phone.
But the colours of the peek a boo are actually worse in real life. There is a lot of very obvious purple in her hair and so far the colours of her face are much too dark pnk. Sort of tempted to give up but will persevere for now.

Yes, I've just seen the design from the link you gave and I see what you mean now. I don't understand why they didn't change the purple hair as she is meant to be a brunette?

Now I've done the craft fair I managed to get back to my fractal rotation.

Gone back to my proper camera so hopefully the quality of the photo has improved.
