Hardanger House

Post by Lucyjoujou »

I would love to find a copy of this pattern. I think it was by Patricia Andrie.

 Welcome to the forum. I just did a quick search on ebay and found one hardanger house listed, not sure it's the one you are looking for---there's one in a cross stitch Christmas book too--pretty sure a couple of members of the forum may be able to help out with information

This one?

I am working on it now. Well.. not exactly working on it.. but its in my to-stitch pile. A bit further along than my last photo- but not much. As it is a project for myself, I put it down to work on projects for others. Mine take much longer than they should to be finished.
Details on the book are in one of my posts.

And it may not be the right one.
Doing a Google search.. there are a few different "Hardanger House" patterns
I have no clue who the designer of mine is. I don't think it says on the pattern itself- its only credited to BH&G.

I did a search and found that the designer of this pattern is called Penny Cornell. I emailed her and she said that it was her own design and she had no pattern for it. I wonder if we're all talking about the same Hardanger House? I'd love to see a picture of the one that you're stitching! I can't seem to work out how to post a picture on this forum!

Yeah, the one the OP is looking for is a one of a kind but maybe one of those others will be good too? I like the one with the tree but Hardinger terrifies me. I've got shaky hands. :(

Yes, the first one is the design I really love! But I have managed to find the chart for the Christmas House, which is beautiful.

So not sure if you mean you have found the chart that you are looking for or not. I have these 3 that I will never do and if you want any or all of them let me know and I can pass them on to you.

That is so kind of you! I have found the Christmas House, but the other two are beautiful too. Perhaps I could email you if you let me have your address.
