I am somewhat lacking in patience, too. My friends are sometimes surprised that I have the patience for my cross stitch, given my lack of patience in other things.

Looking really great Rach and I do love that fabric you are using for it - such a soft green..

BTW there will be a Quilt & Craft Show on at the Pioneer Stadium in ChCh in Feb I think it is. Will go check it out in a minute and confirm the date.

Yep 13-15 February. Google caft & quilt show Brisbane and along the top where it has other cities its got ChChand Hamilton shows too.

Actually, the fabric isn't green - I photographed it on a green sheet yesterday! It's the recommended linen, which I'd have to look up to tell you what it is.

Ooh thx for info on quilt & craft show - I'll have to start saving some pennies!!

here the next instalment on the neighbourhood piece. i've got some time on my hands as i wind down here in the UK in preparation for my move to NZ in 2wks time!.
i'm getting at least an hour a day stitching time - more on occasion, so have made good progress.
the middle panel is complete now except for the leaves and flowers on the vine at the edge.
there was a huge sigh of relief when the 2 vine edges matched up perfectly at the bottom!!
