So, are we all slightly "twisted" when it comes to stitching or is just me? After all, what is a small insignificant poke compared to rethreading all those needles and frogging. Priorities must be maintained. I'm sure he understands and is sorry for any inconvenience he caused you right? Such a nice fellow.

I have an organizer that I use all the time, too. I'm thinking about starting a second project while working on Footprints, and found a nice idea for organizing your needles.
If you like to have more than one needle/color going at a time (definitely saves time), you don't have to have one of the organizers. Take an extra piece of fabric (I guess it could be aida, regular fabric, etc) that is big enough to hold your needles. Using masking tape, write the floss # and symbol (and any other info) you need. Thread your needle and put it next to your tape marker. (I'm hoping I've explained this well enough. )
I'm thinking about trying this for the second I'm thinking about starting since I only have one organizer, and this project has about 20 blended colors.
Excellent idea. I think that this would work especially well for slightly smaller projests when it may not be worthwhile using the larger needle organiser.

Psssst.... TBear, you forgot to say, "Hope your BF is okay."
We have to at least act like there is more to life than stitching. Don't we?
Oops, sorry Carolyn, I just completely forgot!
Erm, hope your Boyfriend wasn't too sore Nic Would be plenty sore it it were my hubby, would slap his legs as well for being so CARELESS as to sit on my precious needles!!!

While still stitching my Horse Racing project I have also done this for a friend.
And here is the latest update on the Horse Racing. It might look like it's finished but it is only half finished. I was tempted to leave it as it is but I know I'd feel guilty so I have stared the second half tonight.

The "in-between" project is great and it's wonderful to see that those horses have not been abandoned -- they are far too spectacular not to complete (although with anything that size it's no wonder you were contemplating "down-sizing" it !)
