Lovely progress! I know that feeling of being anxious if the borders match up and wanting to cheer when they do. I can't imagine what its like with big projects like railroads and tunnels that start at opposite ends, blasting through mountains etc and having to meet perfectly. Looking forward to your updates!

I left the UK about 2 wks too late, it was too cold in the last 2 wks and I'd already sent my winter stuff ahead if me! But essentially I had planned it so I wouldn't have winter til the middle of next year!!

It's hard to balance reading and stitching sometime, isn't it?
I hadn't read a book in a long time and certainly not since I'd restarted stitching. I will have to get into some habit - stitch in day, read at night or something, cos I have a few books I want to read!.
As for "eager to see more" - I'm going as quick as I can . I'm hoping this bottom row will stitch faster than the middle with the 2 houses, so hopefully, with plenty of summer sport on the telly lots will get done!
Love your update on this one and hopefully you can work out a good schedule of reading and stitching.
I stitch in daylight only (I do have a great lamp if necessary) and then read at night and it works well for me. We lose our daylight up here about 7pm ish so stitch til 5.30 or 6 and put it away. Over there you should be able to stitch outside until 8pm at present. Oh wonderful days they were.

I'm cracking on with this in order to reach my goal of having the bottom portion completed by the end of the year.
all my stitching stuff from the UK has arrived now so i want to get this finished so i can do something else!. i've been looking at all the wonderful decorations being stitched on the net and have decided to make one a month next year along side a larger project.
You're making great progress on this! It's such a pretty design, and your stitching is so pretty and neat.
I think your idea of a small ornie monthly is a good one. I like having little projects to do in between my big ones, or when I just need a break from the big guys.
