My first update this year is also my first progress picture for Persephone. Lots of wallpaper and skin :)

A couple new starts:

Blackwork bookmark designed by Kells, for my sister.

Falling Leaves, by DMC, using Jodyri threads mostly.

I stitched this one a first time in 2012 with the recommended DMC Color Variations and turned it into a pincushion containing my 2012 ORTs:

This one will contain 2013 ORTs, so I guess I'm starting a tradition and I'll probably keep stitching a new one every year :)

:applesauce: Beautiful book mark. I know your sister will love it! And what a smart thing to do with your orts. I just keep collecting them and filling an old mason jar. Have no idea what I will do when I can't get even a teeny bit of thread in it. A king size pillow maybe?

Beautiful starts on both of these---I did the bibliophile one a couple of years ago, and in about the same tones of thread that you are using and I love it!!! Love the colors you have chosen on the falling leaves project--another idea that I may have to 'borrow'!!! Very pretty!! :wub:

Well I managed to put down my crochet hook long enough to give Persephone a face and more wallpaper.
I did change her eyebrow, didn't like the original one. I like this one much better, it makes her face softer :)

I also started the Fleur de Lys SAL from Brodeuse Bressane (oops). I totally had to, since I'm French and the fleur de lys is one of our national symbols. Plus Bressane means "from Bresse", and Bresse is a region of Burgundy, where I'm from. So as you see, there was no excuse, I just had to stitch it... 8)
