Re: Two questions.
Well, I am going to have to figure something out. Tonight I worked without a threader and my eyes are just not able to focus on that little hole. Or maybe I am un-coordinated? Either way I need a needle threader. Thanks for all the suggestions. They all look like they will work better than what I have been using.
Re: Two questions.
I use pretty much the same technique. I fold the floss over the end of the needle, very tightly, and then slide the needle out, holding the folded over floss tightly between my thumb and middle finger. Then I kind of wiggle the needle so the eye goes over the floss. Sometimes I do have to use a magnifier to make sure I have the widest part of the eye over the floss.MaggieM1750 wrote: I fold the the end of my thread in a loop. A tight loop. And push that loop through the eye of the needle.

Lorac sells these and these are my choice (having tried loads of others including automatic ones that use batteries lol).
I have one of these attached to every pair of scissors I own with a bit of ribbon.

Problem solved! My husband found me a piece of wire and I made my own. It is strong and will likely never break. Take that broken threaders!

While I'm not from Canada and I can't tell you any good online shops to try (I'm from Australia), I have found that if you google shops in your area then a lot of the actual shops will have an online option also. I discovered a little shop near me this way and it is where I get all my things now.
