Advice on charting

Post by sian311 »

I have a few ideas I'd love to stitch, a lot of the time I do it free hand so to speak, but I have a few that would need to be charted. The issue I have is I'm a poor artist, so drawing on graph paper is out.

I was wondering how other people chart their ideas? is there any software recomendations, websites etc?

check out the pattern making programs topic in tips and tricks.
I use pattern maker for cross stitch by hobbyware, a lot of people use pc stitch.
