Now that I've reached a stopping point on the HAED butterfly--I've started on a Joan Elliott Design. She is called Snow Queen and is in issue 231 of Cross Stitch Collection magazine.
Here is a picture of what she will look like when she is finished
and here is my progress after a couple of days of stitching on her
I am stitching her on 32 count belfast linen from under the seas fabrics and the color is called Whimsical Winter--loving it so far!!

She's looking great so far. I want to do one of JE's ladies this year but it's going to be a hard choice!

Brilliant start and fabric choice. Now I don't have to stitch this one yet as I can do it vicariously through you! I'm kitted up several so choices choices....

Lovely! I especially love the detail in the skirt and the snowflakes in the background. I look forward to seeing her come to life.

I fell in love with this when I saw it in CSC. I may start it some time this year but I must finish my 12 days of Christmas first. If I don't finish it now it will become another UFO and may never get done. You have made a great start.

She certainly is a beauty and just love those animals and birds snuggling up on her skirts. A great start Karen.
