Anyone else signed up to the AAN mystery SAL?

I saw on here, I can't remember on which thread so I apologise in advance to whomever showed it previously, the new mystery AAN SAL preview.....here it is



Well that got me wanting to sign up which can be done via the Facebook Alessandra Adelaide Needleworks (AAN) page....I have now been accepted paid my fee and have been added to the stand alone SAL facebook page so I was wondering if anyone else had signed up for this?

There is still just about enough time to sign up but the cut off date is the 31st Jan so not much time at all really!

I have my floss list and now I need to pick a fabric.....not easy for me

I joined this one a few weeks ago and can't wait to start. I'm still waiting for 2 fabric orders to arrive so I can decide just what I will be stitching it on!!! I know there are a couple of others on the forum that have also joined!!

Glad I saw this, I had forgotten to sign up! Just added my info to the page, so should get payment request soon.

Here are the sizes stated on the facebook page for the design, this is without any borders you might want to leave. Yes you can always fit in another SAL and I guess it depends on what amount of stash you have to begin with!! There are not many colours called for in the piece and AAN designs tend to lend themselves to monochromatic colourways very nicely too....I'm not enabling....nope

40 count over two = 8 x 12 3/4 inches
36 count over two = 8 7/8 x 14 1/8 inches
32 count over 2 = 10 x 16 inches
30 count over two = 10 5/8 x 17 inches
28 count over two = 11 3/8 x 18 1/4 inches
22 over 1 = 7 1/4 x 11 5/8
20 over 1 = 8 x 12 3/4 inches
18 over 1 = 8 7/8 x 14 1/4 inches

Via the AAN facebook page....there is a pinned post on there once you get accepted where you can request to join.....be quick if you want to sign up it closes tonight!!

Found it! She added me right away, so now just waiting for the Paypal invoice... And I definitely don't need any more WIPs, but oh well... Lol

yes i am signed up as well. last day for signing up today and the first part is released in the fb page on the 10th i think. they have got over 200 people taking part now

Will y'all be able to post progress pics here? or is it limited to only FB? I really want to see the progress, but I really don't want to sign up for another SAL as there is just too much on my plate right now with several planned new starts as well (and a 50% sale tempting me badly).

Before I had asked about sharing this and she said it was fine, but then when I mentioned instagram she seemed to get upset. but then said as long as it is not able to get the chart from the pictures she is fine, ya know the obvious rules.

I am in on this as well and hope we can share our progresses! I am on skype too and if anyone wants to get together on skype and do a virtual sit and stitch just let me know!

No, she never did answer that post, so I honestly can't see anything wrong with posting pictures here---it's not unlike us posting pictures of any other designer's stitching projects we do, is it??? I think it should be safe to say that all of us know not to post pictures of the actual charting etc.
