Looking for an old Anchor kit.

Post by peachyness »

Hi everyone.
I've joined this forum in search of an old Anchor pattern called "Tinkerbell" (art code 1381.16) It's of a grey/brown tabby cat wearing a collar with a bell with a pinkish glow behind it. Being a very old kit (was bought 1996 or 1997 at a guess) it's been through a bit and is missing some threads. On both the card and the guide sheet it has the numbers 1 to 16 with the little matching guide squares along side the numbers on the guide sheet. What I want to find out is, is there anyone who knows how to match up the colours with the old charts??
Here is what I have of the kit and what I've done and the damage that it has.

 Hello and welcome to the forum from South Carolina! What a cute design you have. I don't know where you can find the information you are looking for, but have you tried contacting the designer or Anchor?? I would guess your next best option would be eBay? Hope you find the key and that you will stick around and show us your progress. Are you working on other projects while waiting for the info on this one?

Thank you for the welcome Carole. :)
Contacting Anchor might be my next step. I've looked on eBay every now and then with no luck, though one kit I had (a dog) that was with this one was on there and the seller did send me the guide sheet that I was missing so I finished that one.

The dog one that was with the cat kit.
I've done a few kits since this one.

One I've recently finished.

One of the first kits I've done.

Another I completed a while back.

This one I had seen a while ago and really wanted it. Found it again and finished it the start of last year.

What I'm currently working on.

The next one that I've started a little on.

And a future one that I'm pretty keen it start.

I'm hoping to do a few I've found from a seller on Etsy by the name Clouds Factory. http://www.etsy.com/au/shop/cloudsfactory" target="_blank" target="_blank.
She has a lot of stuff from TV shows and movies I like. And with these kits I get to buy the threads and supplies for them. :D
