Thread search DMC 971

Hi - does anyone have 2 skeins of DMC 971 (pumpkin) that I could have - need to be exactly this shade, and not the DMC 740 replacement, as I have WIP (XS Collectible Fractal 54) with both colours side by side.
I am happy pay costs - part skeins acceptable, providing colour is proven

I went thru all my DMC, but came up empty. Good Luck with your search.

Me, too. However, have you thought about using Anchor 316? If you haven't actually started using the DMC thread, this might be a solution.

I have one pkg. old and one pkg. new. They do not match in color....only number.

I have an older 971 and if you would like me to send it you can pass me a PM. It is almost a complete skein. I do no need anything in return. I do not know how old it is but comparing it to my newer thread it does have a different shade.
