How do you rotate? Let me count the ways...

I definitely try to finish a project before moving on because I do have at least a half dozen projects sitting around that I wonder if I'll ever get back to. The ones sitting around are large holiday projects and I suppose I lose interest when that holiday is over if it's not completed and then I just never get back to it...sigh...

I stitch almost primarily HAEDs and Chatelaines - I have many WIPs and I love it! Like a lot of folks here, I used to have only one or two WIPs, usually one regular piece and one Christmas piece. But I would get bored and not stitch for months at a time. Since I discovered HAED and Chatelaine, I have never become bored! I rotate my projects by page for HAED or by section on Chatelaines. Sometimes I'll be having such a good time with a project, I'll stick with it for more pages or sections, I just do what I feel like. I get a feeling of finish after every page or section... I rotate to whatever project is screaming the loudest next. I actually don't worry about finishing projects, I don't frame too many of them, so it's kind of sad to finish them actually since they just go in a drawer then and I don't get to see them much anymore.

This has really got me thinking. I don't know why i worry so much about finishing as quick as possible as I hardly frame any of mine either.
The pleasure really is in the stitching and it is important that you are enjoying what you are doing so I am not going to worry so much and go back to my rotation. Thank you Dana you really helped me with your comments

I usually have a small portable project that I take everywhere and work on whenever I can, and one larger project at home that I work when I home and have time to stitch. Getting a millennium frame and stand has given me a bit more flexibility, so I am adding a larger SAL (Passione Ricamo 20 Year Celebration Mystery SAL) to rotate with the at home project.
