Mags & Chart storage

Post by Mrs_Stitcher »

Hey guys any ideas how I can store my mags or at least the charts from them.
My plan is to cut out the charts and store them in a folder under headings for things like Flowers, Birds, Babies, Alphabet etc

All ideas welcome :D

When I 1st started this hobby, 30 yrs. ago, I bought magazines and put them in clear pocket sleeves in 3 different 3 ring binders, depending on the subject. Then I started to buy just wedding and baby charts and put them in them too. Now I have 5 of those black plastic slanted top file bins.
3 are for my Christmas magazine chart designs, 1 for my wedding, and 1 for my baby designs.
The the "fun" of this hobby, is that "storage ideas" are unlimited.

When I cut the charts out of the mags that I had collected I bought the plastic pockets that fit in the 3 ring binder and organized them into subject matter. I like this method the best. When I need a chart I can go to the binders and look in the proper subject for what I am after. Although at times I will end up looking in all of them just to remember what I have.

I have OCD real bad when it comes to organising. I plan on buying a proper ring binder tonight along with some plastic wallets then each chart will be in there alphabetically with sub sections for each type of chart. Think I will need more dividers too.
