Star de taylor review

Post by Oriettait »

I bought this little pretty object after reading about it in this forum some time ago I believe...
It is a little iridescent star with a wire loop going through it. It is used to tuck those short length of thread under stitched areas to secure it and it also come in handy to make that couple more stitches you need with the very end of your thread.
Mabel asked about it and so today I had the opportunity to use it a few times and it works!! the only trouble is that it is a bit difficult to get it under heavy confetti areas to secure your tails, but it is doable with patience.
At around 3£ I am very happy about my new toy :whoop:

I have had one for a while also. ( meant to reply to Mabel earlier, but then forgot. Definitely getting older). I don't use mine very often, but it is helpful when I need to run thread under stitches and it is too short for the needle. I agree its hard sometimes to pull the thread in heavy confetti areas, but if I'm patient it works and that is what counts.
