hello I am a male stitcher from Narfolk

Post by Colin »

Hello I am a forum newbie. been stitching since 2000 my first was a Whale card, then a Dalmation, followed by Bagpuss, now working on "Last Supper" I have various ills, , IBS and Depression and Chronic back pain. my Dr is a stitcher and advised me to join you lot. If I am not reading I have needle and thread. I am lucky or unlucky enough to be given failed projects by my sister, I do them and give them back once complete. you see un picking helps my ills. By concentrating on that my pain can be placed in the backround. My job? self employed photographer and writer.

Well I have been stitching all afternoon trying to finish by Sisters "Airmen" she managed to mess up. Now chilling and visiting my forums. I do not sleep very well so cx, read and surf frequently, I always have a jigsaw on the go too. I prefer forums to cx clubs as I am a young 40, they either want to mother me or sleep with me!

Welcome! My hubby does a little stitching. He is working on an Ariel for our daughter now since when I took him to the craft store with our kids my project list added 3 more patterns. :) My father used to crochet to help with his severe arthritis, so I can understand where you're coming from. I hope you enjoy it here!

I was born here moved away and have now returned. The only good CX shop is either Taverham or a little shop in Lowestoft.

Hello, it is so nice to have yet another man on the site. It is so good to get a different perspective.

Since your photograph is wildlife and landscapes are those the same type of patterns that you like to stitch?

What a great doctor. Wish we had more tht looked at long term help rather then instantly feeding us full of drugs.

Hope you have lots of fun joining in with all of our tom foolery.
