I stumbled upon this chart from HAED via someone's blog. Oh GOD, she's sooo beautiful and looks exactly like my Scully. I want, I want, I want!!!!

Question --- do the "mini" charts end up looking as good as the big ass ones??

I have this in the large version as I fell in love with it the day it was released. I have done and am doing some minis and I like how they turn out. They are a bit less detailed, but a mini isn't a "shrunken" version of the large version. It is completely recharted so it is complete. I haven't really seen any completely stitched mini's next to a completely stitched large version, but I like the minis, especially as gifts because they really have a chance of being finished (I finished one as a gift). I probably would have gotten the mini if I hadn't already purchased the full one. I know this isn't much of an answer but I think it comes down to how much you want a lot of detail, how much time you want to invest in stitching it, and how big a piece do you want to have.

The mini is only a wee bit smaller than the Hermit which is daunting in and of itself.

I am leaning towards the mini on Hardanger 22ct.
